An ultrasonic cutting machine uses high-frequency sound waves to vibrate a blade at thousands of times per second. These micro-vibrations help the blade glide through food like it’s cutting through air—minimizing friction and reducing mess.
The blade vibrates at a high frequency (usually 20–40 kHz), which drastically reduces contact friction with the product being cut.
